Just In! The New Possible

July 29th, 2020

What’s hot?

McKinsey and company designers spoke with dozens of people around the world about their challenges working from home, their financial concerns and the psychological and emotional toll of the COVID-19 pandemic.*

So what?

The results of their interviews revealed three actions that organizations can take to help employees bridge the work from home gap.

What to do?

To level the work-from-home (WFH) playing field, McKinsey recommends:

  • Provide furniture and equipment allowances, coworking memberships, resources for broadband enhancement, ergonomic consultation, and more.
  • Provide the right tools andtraining – go beyond the typical tools like video conferencing and communication to productivity and time-management tools.
  • Build more workplace connectivity and social structures – learn employees social needs and “invent the social fabric and social serendipity of the socially distanced world” to fill those needs.
